PARTNERSHIP WITH TED ON THE ‘CLIMATE COUNTDOWN INITIATIVE’
2020 will be remembered as the year of the Novel Corona Virus. It
redefined how we live and function as a society. Although, this
has temporarily reduced the amount of greenhouse gases, climatic effects of the
greenhouse gas emissions still persist. Our planet
is still warming and the oceans still acidifying. It
is yet another grave reminder that we are sitting on a ticking time bomb called
climate change. Jio has joined hands
with TED to address climate change with their ‘Countdown’ initiative.

COUNTDOWN INITIATIVE:

a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis
for turning ideas into action.

better future by cutting greenhouse gas
emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that
