Microsoft’s Your Phone app now lets notification syncing and screen mirroring

Recently we have seen Microsoft been adding new features to it’s Your Phone app. From notifications to screen mirroring, it has been adding new features. But as of now most of the cool features are only restricted to the insiders build only.

Windows Insider Twitter handle announced that notifications are now available to everyone. All you have to do is download the companion app in both your PC and android smartphone and link it to your PC and you are good to go. You can now see notifications of your smartphone in your PC as usual windows notifications.

These notifications appear on your windows 10’s action center as well as in the Your Phone companion app itself. In terms of appearance and info, the notifications are identical to android. Overall it seems to be better as of now.

Whereas for windows 10 insiders a new feature is included, called “Notification Chasing” what it does is when a notification arrives you can interact with it by clicking on it, then a new window appears which is the screen mirror of your smartphone. Now you can directly interact to the notification inside your PC through this Screen Mirroring feature. So you don’t have to look after your phone every time a notification arrives.

Users who aren't insiders will be forced to open their device to reply to the messages. There’s no way to reply to messages that don't come in the form of SMS, no way to mark, read, or anything like that. Thank You
