Miui Launcher With App Drawer Finally Availaible by Xiaomi

FINALLY, AN APP DRAWER FOR XIAOMI DEVICES

XIAOMI’S MIUI LAUNCHER UPDATE (ALPHA)

INTRODUCTION

Xiaomi added an app drawer to its default app launcher.

With the latest build of Miui Launcher,

It is getting an app drawer and app shortcuts in it. Since it is in its early alpha stage we can’t find features like swipe up to open app drawer.

To activate,

You need to download and install the latest version, Links are provided Below, and then,

• 1. Long press on the home screen
• 2. Tap on Settings
• 3. Then Tap on more.

Here, you will find an option in Chinese under the Settings Group. Tap on it you will find two options the one with the normal standard no App Drawer, which Miui had and the other is the new option with App Drawer, select that one and you are good to go.

  

Since it is in its early alpha stage it is not the final output, with time we can see new features and stable version of this Miui Launcher.

HOW TO INSTALL ON YOUR DEVICE

You can simply head over to this (link) and download the APK and install it on any Xiaomi/Redmi Devices.

I have installed it on my Redmi Note 7 Pro and it works flawlessly.

HOW TO ROLL BACK TO STABLE VERSION

 In case you didn't like it and want to roll back to your previous version, simply install this version (link) over the alpha and your are good to go.

• Apk version - DEV-4.10.3.995-06111103 (41030995)
• Size - 6.71

But Sometimes, Installing and Older Version of APK won't work. So you might need to Uninstall the Launcher Updates -

• 1. Go to Settings
• 2. Scroll down and Choose, Manage Apps
• 3. On the Search Bar, Search for "System Launcher".
• 4. Tap on System Launcher, and Below you will find and Option of Uninstall Updates
• 5. Tap on Uninstall Updates, and Now you will be back to your Default Launcher.
• 6. Just Press the Home Button and Enjoy.
