Action Dash: Digital Well-Being alternative!

This app called Action dash is the perfect alternative for all those who want to experience the digital well-being feature in their smartphone. I’ve been using this app for quite some time now and it is impressive. This app comes free of cost and can be found in play store (link is provided at the end of the article), although there is an in app purchase of 100 INR for this app that gives you some amazing extra features that we will talk about in the article.

What is Digital Well-Being?

So what we all know is that, it is hard for us to keep our hands off our smartphone, and while some of us might not accept it this technology has become some kind of a disease. As helpful as smartphones are to us, they are equally unhealthy. Google thought of it too and designed an inbuilt feature or app which would help us get control over our life again by controlling how we use and how much we use our device, this feature was named Digital Well-Bing. Many found this app really helpful in overcoming their addiction and using their smartphone in a healthy way but all of us were not lucky enough to use this app. This feature was rolled out by Google via Android Pie but it was not implemented on every device. At first it was exclusive only for Pixel and Android one devices but later on it was included in some devices the Samsung galaxy S10  series, Motorola G7, Motorola one and a few other smartphones.

But not all of us have Pixel, Galaxy S10 or even the Motorola G7 and some of us use Apple (not intended). We still wanted to use Digital Well-Being and developers heard our cries, so we started seeing lots and lots of Digital Well-Being apps on play store but none of them were good enough. Some only had a few features, some consumed a lot battery, some were not accurate or giving much information and some were just lacking interactive UI. An app named Action Dash was one of such apps though it was better than the rest it did not have enough things to give the original like feeling, but things changed with its latest update version 3.2. After this update there has been a major upgrade in this app and a lot of new features are now included which makes it a perfect alternate for all those who want to experience Digital Well-Being.

Here is a detailed side by side comparison of all the features of Digital Well-Being app by Google and Action Dash so you can see how good this app is and decide whether it’s a true alternative or not.
