If you ever used a MIUI powered device, then you know that Xiaomi marks lower price and covers it through bloatware or ads in the system apps such as MIUI security app, Mi video app and in many places.

Now lets disable ads from MIUI 10 using the following steps.

Solution #1 - Disabling Ads

1. Revoking authorization of the MSA app

    Revoke MSA(MIUI System Ads). We need to disable msa, to do it head over to Settings > Additional Settings > Authorization and Revocation, and select msa from the list. Turn off the toggle, wait for 10-second timer to pass, then revoke. It may not directly disable at the 1st attempt, try 2,3 times. Revoking authorization for MSA will reduce the number of ads across the system.

2. Disable the advertising identifier

    It can be found in Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > User Experience Program. Now turn off the only toggle present.

3. Disable ads from App Lock

    GoTo Settings > App Lock and click on the settings icon and disable “Receive Recommendations.”

4. Disable ads from File Manager

    Open the app, slide left, and go to Settings > About and disable “Recommendations.”

5. Disable ads from the Virus scanner/APK installer

    To disable this you need to install any application, While the scanning is in progress, click on the Settings icon on the top right, and toggle off the “Receive Recommendations” option. You can also disable the security scan on this screen, if you want to.

6. Disable ads from Security app

    Open Security app, click on the settings icon and disable “Receive Recommendations”. Within the same app navigate to Settings > Cleaner as well as Setting > Boost Speed and disable “Receive Recommendations” there as well.

7. Disable ads from Mi Browser

    Open the Mi browser, click on the menu button on the bottom right corner and disable “Show recommended content.”

8. Disable ads from Download app

    Open the downloads app, click on the menu button on the top right corner and disable “Show recommended content.”

9. Disable ads from MIUI Themes

    Open the Themes app, click the profile button on the bottom right corner, go to Settings and disable “Recommendations” also disable “Personalized Wallpaper Selection.”

10. Disable ads from Mi Music

    Open the Mi Music app and goto Account > Settings and disable “Online Recommendations” and also disable “Push Notifications.”

11. Disable ads from Mi Video

    Open Mi Video app, goto Account > Settings and disable “Online Recommendations” and also disable “Push Notification.”

By doing all the above steps should help you get rid of the system ads on the OS.

Solution #2 - Changing Region

    This is not the best as changing region may have an impact on your network functionality. Several features like face unlock, are region depended too. Still you wish you can set your region to any of the nations within the European Union. By doing this the number of ads will cut down by a good margin. ThankYou
